Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican-American sportscaster. Her current role is a sportscaster for ESPN in the role of an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She started working at ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been since when she was nine years old. This skill has helped her get her first job with Univision, Miami. She could work alongside national producers on shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was offered the position of a reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate immediately following the interview. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as a news reporter for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The reporter covered stories about drug trafficking and immigration both at the Texas and Mexico the border. She was employed as a journalist on KNVO TV 48 Univision, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The duties of anchoring on weather and sports was also frequently requested. The family moved into Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November in 1985. There is an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to go to the US and was settled in Miami. In 1992, her parents divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in the year 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. Her residence was in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer, in which she was offered an opportunity to work. As a senior in high school but knowing exactly what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta was able to visit at the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her requirements. She discovered that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it offered an academic program that she liked. She completed her schooling and was accepted to the University with a degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU in which she is a member. They had a very close friendship. The passion he had for journalism as well as her self-confidence prompted her. In turn, she, tried to meet his expectations and never fall short of his expectations.
